Mechanics of structures is a field of applied mechanics in which you compute deformations, stresses, and strains in solid materials. Often, the purpose is to determine the strength of a structure, such as a bridge, to prevent damage or accidents.
In this exercise, I tried to analyze the load distribution for the structural elements of my living room -part of a G+7 building. The load can be distributed over a specific volume, like a beam, or can be contributed to another specific volume, like a column.
This is the most straightforward yet crucial property that enables us to build everything we can.
